Critical Prior to Class:

• [ ] Register Confirmation: Provider (first time/expired) or Update (renewal)
• [ ] Complete Online Pre-course Self-Assessment: Go to elearning.heart.org/courses or https://shopcpr.heart.org/acls-precourse-self-assessmentand score 70% or higher.
• [ ] Print Pre-test Results: Print the results before closing the exam window (required for files).
• [ ] Provider Manual: Bring the current 2025 ACLS Provider Manual or e-book.
• [ ] Pre-course Results: Bring the printed copy of your self-assessment score.
• [ ] Comfortable Clothes: You will be doing compressions

• [ ] Complete BLS Online: Complete the online portion prior to class.
• [ ] Bring/Email Certificate: Print and bring the HeartCode Part 1 certificate to class, or email it to [email protected]

• The pre-test is a teaching tool in itself. Completing the ACLS pre-test increases your chance of a passing grade in the class.

PER THE AHA...

1. THE STUDENT MUST COMPLETE THE PRE-COURSE MATERIAL PRIOR TO THEIR SCHEDULED CLASS.
2. EACH STUDENT MUST HAVE A 2025 EDITION STUDENT MANUAL AND BRING IT WITH THEM TO CLASS.

Important BLS Infomation (ONLY IF YOU ADDED BLS)

Students that have added the BLS HeartCode to their class must purchase the Heartcode BLS in addition to the (75.00) skills check cost.  Please complete the online HeartCode prior to your scheduled class and bring the HeartCode Part 1 certificate with them to class.  Results may be emailed.

Reschedule- Cancellation- Refund Process

• Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis by Heartlovers.
• Students must call and speak to a person in order to reschedule or cancel a class (a voice mail or email to Heartlovers does not constitute class cancellation or rescheduling).

• Refunds and/or charges for rescheduling and cancelling will be issued according to Heartlovers Terms and Conditions as listed below.

Reschedule- Cancellation- Refund Policy

Greater than 24-hour options of their scheduled class:

• Reschedule to another class date (no charge)
• Refund ($50.00 cancellation fee)

Less than 24-hour options:

• Reschedule to another class date (no charge)
• Cancellation = No Refund, Full charge for class

Day of class "No Shows or Tardiness":

• No Refunds... Students that do not cancel their registration and/or that do not show up to class will not receive a refund.
• No Refunds... Excessive tardiness (greater than 30 minutes) will not be allowed in a class. We are willing to work with the students to reschedule on a case-by-case basis depending on the situation.

 Students that reschedule multiple times will not be eligible for a refund.  We will keep their status as “unscheduled”, so they will be eligible to take a class.  Once the student decides on a class date, they can call us, and we will then transfer them to the new class date.
